Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow faces water logging
Mumbai, Jul 1 (UNI) The continuous downpour in the city caused water logging at megastar Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow situated in one of the low-lying areas of the city, Juhu, today.
The sources at the bungalow -- Jalsa -- and his office said this morning water had accumulated above the ankle level but it did not damage anything as they were well prepared to control the situation.
This monsoon, as safety measure, the actor had shifted all his vehicles including MUVs to a five star hotel J W Marriott's car parking area in the same locality to have them parked there till the season of the year gets over.
Bachchan had to take this step as the car parking area of Jalsa is in the basement, which gets flooded easily.
The sources said the actor clearly did not want to take chances after all his luxury cars were damaged during the July 26 deluge in 2005 and most of his high-end cars has a Global Positioning System, which was severely damaged during the monsoons in the last two years.
