3 killed, 7 injured in accident
Alibaug, Maharashtra, Jul 1 (UNI) Three people were killed and seven injured, two of them seriously, in a truck-jeep collision on the Mumbai-Goa highway at Nanore village near Mangaon, about 155 kms south of Mumbai, today.
The jeep, heading towards Mumbai from Mahad, collided with the truck, on the way to Mahad from Gujarat, this morning at 0700 hours, police said.
The two seriously injured were admitted to the J J Hospital in Mumbai.
The deceased were identified as Vilas Baku Mundhe (40), Nanu Rajaram Kevat (35) and Suresh Yashwant Lonuste (22), all residents of Ratnagiri district, police said.
