Vijay Bhardwaj remanded to judicial custody till July 14

Ambala, Jun 30 (UNI) The CBI special court today remanded Vijay Bhardwaj, the sole accused in the murder of Delhi ACP Rajbir Singh, to judicial custody till July 14.

ACP Rajbir Singh, an ''encounter specialist'', was allegedly shot dead in his office by Vijay at Gurgaon on March 24.

Both were friends but had developed differences over money matters which led to the murder of the ACP.

The case was handed over to the CBI after Rajbir's widow expressed lack of confidence in the Gurgaon Police and demanded CBI enquiry.
