Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas condemns J
Ayodhya, Jun 30 (UNI) Condemning Jammu&Kashmir Governor N N Vohra's decision to revoke the transfer of land to the Sri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB), Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas member and former MP Ramvilas Vedanti today said the decision aims to appease some specific community.
The verdict on the land issue has not only hurt the sentiments of scores of Hindus, but also ''insulted'' them, Mr Vedanti noted.
''It is simply meant to make happy some specific community,'' he maintained.
The Nyas urged the President's urgent attention on the matter and alleged that Mr Vohra, Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad and some political organisations were supporting the anti-national elements.
''If nothing is done into the matter soon, then the Hindus would disrupt the construction of Haj House,'' Mr Vedanti warned.
Meanwhile, in industrial city Kanpur also, the enraged BJP workers took to street and burnt Mr Azad in effigy.
