Singareni Collieries Dy GM dismissed from service

Hyderabad, Jun 30 (UNI) Singareni Collieries Company Ltd Deputy General Manager N Vishwanadham was dismissed from service following his conviction in a bribery case by the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases here today.

According to a press release, the deputy General Manager was trapped by ACB officials in October, 2002 when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a contractor for providing blasted earth/stone/rock.

In another case, Ms Syed Dildar Begum, senior assistant in the office of AP Housing Board Executive Engineer in Vijayawada division, was dismissed from service following her conviction by the court of Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases.

ACB officials trapped her while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from the complainant for handing over the original registered document of his house allotted by the Housing Board.
