Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.95 per USD, 16 paise rises

Mumbai, Jun 30 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.95 per unit, rose by 16 paise, from Friday's close of 42.79 per USD.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 47 paise up at Rs 67.81 per unit, against Friday's rate of Rs 67.34.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 85.6251 (85.0430) per Pound and Rs 40.65 (40.05) per 100 units respectively, a data received by Reserve Bank of India said.
