PP blame J
Srinagar, Jun 30 (UNI) Blaming the government for the prevailing situation in the Kashmir valley, the Panther Party (PP) working committee today demanded an immediate dismissal of the Congress-led government in the state.
A spokesman of the PP said an emergency meeting of the Working Committee (WC) was held under the chairmanship of Prof Bhim Singh to review the situation.
The party's stand on the present situation created by the government with ulterior motive was discussed, he said.
The WC unanimously adopted a resolution urging Governor N N Vohra to dismiss the ''minority'' government headed by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and impose Governor rule in the state in the interest of its security and sovereignty of India.
He said the committee also demanded judicial enquiry against the ministers who allegedly tried to ignite communal conflict and tension in the name of Shri Amarnath, thus damaging the secular image of the Kashmiris.
The WC accused the Congress and the PDP of raising the bogey of land transfer by misrepresenting facts with the political agenda.
