One militant killed in Kashmir

Srinagar Jun 30: Security forces killed a militant in an encounter in the Kashmir valley, official sources said.

They said security forces launched a search operation at Kachpathri, Kangan, about 40 km from here in Ganderbal district.

During the operation, an encounter took place in which a militant was killed. One ak rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.
