NTPC signs loan agreement worth Rs 10,000 cr with PFC
New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) today said it has signed a loan agreement of Rs 10,000 crore with Power Finance Corporation to finance its ongoing capacity addition programme.
The amount will be used to finance the expenditure on the ongoing capacity addition programme of NTPC including renovation and modernisation and coal mining and coal washeries, it said in a statement.
The tenure of the loan is 16 years with a moratorium of four years, it added.
The repayments are to take place in 48 quarterly installments after moratorium.
