Madani says Islam has nothing to do with terrorism
Gandhidham, Jun 30 (UNI) Syed Mahmood Madani, general secretary of Jamiyate-Ulema-e-Hind (JUH), has said Islam has nothing to do with terrorism, which is a major obstacle in the progress of any nation.
Talking to reporters here yesterday, the RLD Rajya Sabha member lamented that some people were trying to paint Islam in bad light.
Madani said JUH will soon be holding an anti-terrorism convention in the border district of Kutch.
