Kamal Hasan's next venture 'Marmayogi'
Kochi, Jun 30 (UNI) Having won accolades for his ten roles in 'Dashavatharam', versatile actor-director Kamal Hasan is already busy with his next venture 'Marmayogi', he said today.
Addressing a press conference here, Kamal said the Tamil movie would be shot digitally and would have all modern foreign techniques.
Speaking of 'Dashavatharam', which took almost two years to complete, the actor said that he believed in excellence, not perfection.
Speaking in a lighter vein, he said the role of the scientist Govind in 'Dashavatharam' was the most tiresome for him as it required no makeup and he was not given any special treatment while doing this character. ''For all other roles, which required makeup, I was served everything in my room,'' he quipped.
On the character of musician Avtar Singh, who is cured of cancer after suffering a bullet injury, Kamal said this character was inspired by MGR, who had suffered a bullet injury once.
Asked why not a single character in the movie was a Malayali, Kamal said though he was a great fan of Malayalam films, a Malayali character did not gel with the aesthetic sense of the movie.
