Jagran Prakashan Q4 net dips 14.41% to Rs 15.48 cr

New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) Jagran Prakashan Ltd, publisher of 'Dainik Jagran', today said its net profit has declined 14.41 per cent to Rs 15.48 crore for the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 18.09 crore for the same period a year ago.

''The profits of the Q4 FY08 were after accounting for the losses (net) of Rs 8.48 crore from new newspaper brands and non-publication business,'' a company statement said.

Its net profit increased 28.74 per cent to Rs 98.19 crore for the year ended March 2008 from Rs 76.22 crore during the previous fiscal.

Total revenue for FY08 stood at Rs 771.10 crore, it added.
