India Cements Q4 net dips 38.2% at Rs 104.44 cr
New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) India Cements Ltd today said its net profit decreased 38.2 per cent to Rs 104.44 crore for the quarter ended March 2008, where as the same was at Rs 169.14 crore during Q4FY07.
The total income also dipped 88.9 per cent to Rs 101.06 crore for the quarter ended March 2008, against Rs 918.21 crore for the same period a year ago.
The company said in a statement that its net profit surged 33.1 per cent to Rs 637.54 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 478.83 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
The total income also witnessed a hike of 37.5 per cent to Rs 3,605.61 crore for the year ended March this year, where as the same stood at Rs 2,620.88 crore for the year ended March 2007.
The Group's net profit increased 11.5 per cent to Rs 641.57 crore for the year ended March 2008, as against Rs 574.95 crore in the same period last year.
The total income increased 37.8 per cent to Rs 3,617.23 crore for the year ended March 2008, as compared to Rs 2,624.86 crore for the year ended March 2007.
