Guy Ritchie turns to the 'Police' to battle Madonna marriage blues

London, June 30 : Guy Ritchie has turned to his showbiz pals Sting and Trudie Styler to seek comfort over his fractured marriage to Madonna.

Sources say that Ritchie spent several nights at Police frontman's sprawling country estate and was also spotted with the singer's wife Trudie at a nearby pub.

"They were drinking what looked like shandy, and were talking in hushed tones. Guy looked upset and Trudie appeared to be comforting him," The Sun quoted local Sandra Peacock, as saying.

"They had a couple of drinks and were talking for ages. It looked quite serious stuff," she added.

Madonna and Guy were introduced to each other by Sting, 56, and Trudie, 53, at a dinner party at their house in London in 1998.

The couple's seven-year marriage is in crisis over homesick Madonna's desire to return permanently to New York.

Ritchie is said to have flown to New York, where Madonna is currently touring with her kids, to make a last-ditch effort to save their marriage.
