Guddu Pandit admitted to Aligarh medical college
Etah/Lucknow, Jun 30: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Sribhagwan Sharma, alias Guddu Pandit, who was arrested in Noida yesterday after a woman had lodged rape and atrocities report against him, has been admitted to JLN medical college, Aligarh, following a complaint of chest pain.
The BSP MLA was arrested by the Gautam Buddhanagar police from Sector 53 after the victim filed a case against him at Kasganj police station in Kashiram Nagar district.
He was referred to Aligarh medical college from Kashiram district and was undergoing medical tests before being sent to jail, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Aligarh Aseem Arun told UNI over the phone.
Guddu Pandit, who was taken to Kasganj on transit remand was produced before court which ordered to send him to judicial custody till July 10. He complained of chest pain before being sent to jail and was subsequently referred to Aligarh medical college.
The case was registered by the Kasganj police station for illegal confinement, threatening and conspiracy against Guddu Pandit under sections 420, 497, 342,323, 504, 506, 120 B of the IPC and 7 criminal law amendment act, Kanshiran Nagar SP Luv Kumar said.
