Draft electoral rolls published in Pondy

Puducherry, June 30 (UNI) The Puducherry Election department today published the draft electoral rolls, with January one, 2008, as the qualifying date and corrected as per the delimited constituency set up.

Election department sources said the draft list would be on display at all polling booths from today till July ten and objections and claims, if any, could be made till July ten. The electorate could apply for any amendment from July 11 to August 11.

The voters could also apply online by logging on to www.ceopondicherry.nic.in, the sources added.
