Anganwadi workers stage demonstration

Puducherry, June 30 (UNI) Anganwadi workers in the Union Territory today refused to accept their salary and held a demonstration in front of the Women's Development Corporation Office to press their demands.

They were demanding enhancement in salary, among other things.

Senior officials of the administration assured them that an amicable settlement would be found soon.
