3 killed, 9 wounded in truck-car collision
Navi Mumbai, Jun 30 (UNI) Three people were killed and nine sustained injuries today after a truck collided with a Sumo near Panvel in neighbouring Raigarh district, around 60 km from here.
Police sub-inspector Balasaheb Shinde told UNI that at around 0700 hrs, a clan was on its way to Panvel from Mangaon in a Sumo car, when the incident occurred.
Mr Shinde said one body had been identified by deceased's brother, while others were yet to be identified.
The injured were admitted in Panvel civil hospital and further investigations were in progress, he added.
