150 kg ganja seized in Nagaland

Kohima, Jun 30 (UNI) Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel at Dimapur railway station recovered 150 Kg ganja from the parcel room, official sources said here today. The ganja was neatly packed in six packets and was to be sent to one 'DM' of Azimganj city bazaar, West Bengal, sources said.

The GRP personnel, after verifying the railway parcel office, identified the sender of the consignment, who is from Naga Bazaar area of Dimapur.

An investigation was on and a manhunt launched to apprehend the culprit, who is absconding.

The sources said the estimated cost of the contraband consignment is Rs 67,500.
