Two shot dead, militants nabbed

Imphal, Jun 29 (UNI) Two suspected militants were gunned down in an encounter with police at Imphal East.

Police said a hand grenade was recovered from the two suspects.

Meanwhile, SP of Imphal East, Th.Radheshyam said six militants were nabbed from different parts of the capital.

Two cadres of People'e Liberation Army (PLA) and four activists of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) were nabbed in different operations launched by Imphal East police, the SP said.
