Prisoner undergoing treatment dies in hospital

Tiruchirapalli, Jun 29 (UNI) A 36-year-old prisoner died at the Government Headquarters hospital here today.

According to police, Ravi of Anaikaranpalayam in Thanjavur district incarcerated in the Central Prison here was suffering from tuberculosis.

He was admitted to the hospital on June eight.

Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirapalli, held an inquest, police added.
