Helmet compulsory from July 11

Puducherry, June 29 (UNI) The Puducherry administration has extended the time making compulsory wearing of a helmet by two wheeler riders, by ten days.

The administration had announced yesterday that wearing of helmets would be made compulsory with effet from July one.

However, the traffric police, in a release here today, said the time was being extended by ten days to July 11.

This was to give more time for the two wheeler owners to procure helmets.
