Govt will not fall, N-deal will also be through: Lalu
New Delhi, Jun 29 (UNI) Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad today asserted that the UPA government will not fall and the Indo-US nuclear deal will also be sail through.
''Elections will be held on time. The government will not fall and the nuclear deal will also go through,'' Mr Yadav told a TV channel.
His assertion came on a day when the CPI (M) threatened to withdraw support, in concert with other Left parties, to the Manmohan Singh Government if it went ahead with the nuclear deal.
Mr Prasad, whose RJD is an important constituent of the UPA with 24 MPs, ruled out early elections, saying they would be held on schedule.
''I reiterate, elections will be held on time,'' he said, replying to a question on the possibility of early Lok Sabha elections.
