Farmer commits suicide
Gulbarga, Jun 29 (UNI) Unable to bear the brunt of the burden of debt, yet another farmer allegedly committed suicide in Bhuganahalli village in Gulbarga district today.
Police said that the deceased Malleshappa Mallanapujari (60) had borrowed Rs one lakh from private money lenders to dig a well in his field. However, he could not get any water from it.
Dejected over this, the farmer reportedly committed suicide.
