Aged, daughter-in-law shot dead in Banda

Banda, Jun 29: An elderly man and his daughter-in-law were shot dead over a personal rivalry in the Chilla area of the district.

According to sources, some armed assailants barged into Mohan Yadav's house and opened fire on the family.

The aged and his daughter-in-law died on the spot, while his two sons and grand-son sustained severe wounds and had been admitted to hospital.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortems.
