Six of 'Baawaria' gang held in UP

Bulandshahr, Jun 29: Uttar Pradesh police today arrested six members of the notorious 'Baawaria' gang and seized a large, booty from their possession in Anoopshahr area here.

The arrested included Suresh, Vishal, Dhirendra, Vinod, Mukendra and Naresh. All hail from Haryana, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raj Kumar said.

Besides booty comprising Rs 20,000 cash and precious jewellery, two country-made pistols were also recovered from them, he added.

On interrogation, the criminals confessed their hand in various dacoities and murder cases.
