US-bound passengers stranded as Air India cancels flight

Bangalore, Jun 28 (UNI) Passengers of an US-bound Air India flight were stranded at the airport here today as the flight was cancelled shortly before take-off due to a technical snag, According to the Air India sources here, ''The Bangalore-Mumbai-Chicago flight, scheduled to take off at 1300 hrs, was cancelled an hour before the departure due to a technical problem.'' The flight had been rescheduled to leave at 1300 hrs tomorrow from the Bengaluru International Airport.
