TNVASU signs agreement with US-based University

Chennai, Jun 28 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TNVASU) has signed an agreement with US-based University of Nebraska to exchange services in the field of food science and technology.

The agreement would facilitate collaborative programmes in various areas, including faculty improvement by exchange of teachers between the Universities in the field of dairy and food sciences related diciplines, a TNVASU release said here today.

The students of TNVASU, including externship training programme to BTech (food processing technology), would also be able to conduct their academic research programmes at the foreign University.

Visit by senior faculty of both institutions would strengthen academic and rsearch programmes in the field of food science, the release added.
