Major administrative reshuffle in HP

Shimla, Jun 28 (UNI) In a major adminstrative reshuffle in Himachal Pradesh, the state government today ordered the transfer of 20 Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HAS) with immediate effect, official sources said.

Mr K R Bharti, presently Special Secretary General Administration (GAD) and Director Hospitality and Protocol, has been named as Secretary Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB).

The sources said that Hans Raj Chauhan, presently, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev) and Project Director DRDA, has been transferred as Additional Director.

Mr MP Sood, presently Secretary HP State Electricity Board, has been named the new Additional Secretary (GAD) and Director Hospitality and Protocol.

The sources said Ginnu Ram Bharti, presently Regional Transport Officer, has been named Resident Commissioner, Pangi in Chamba district.

Mr Karan Dass Rana, presently, Additional Director Industries, would be the new Joint Secretary Environment and Scientific Technologies. He would also hold the additional charge of the post of Joint Director, Environment, Pollution Control and Bio Technology.

The sources said Ms Kumud Singh, presently Kullu District Tourism Development Officer, who was also functioning as AS to Kullu DC, has been named the new Assistant Commissioner to Kullu Deputy Commissioner. She would also function as DTDO Kullu.

Mr Rattan Singh, presently Managing Director HIMFED and also holding the additional charge of MD HP State Cooperative, Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, has been named Registrar HP University, relieving Mr R S Gupta, Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs of his additional charge.

The sources said Dhruv Vashisht, presently Managing Director, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, who was also functioning as Special Secretary to CM, has been named the HIMFED's new MD.
