Haj Committee Chairman removed

Bangalore, Jun 28 (UNI) The Karnataka government today removed Haj Committee Chairman Zulfikar Ahmed Khan from the post as he was found guilty of charges of misusing the authority in selecting the piligrims.

An official release said here today that the report submitted by the inquiry officer had proved the allegations against him and he had been removed him from the post.

The report said that various actions by Khan are detrimental to the interest of the state Haj Committee and the piligrims, it said.
