Bajrang Dal protests for cancellation of Haj subsidy

Allahabad, Jun 28 (UNI) Demanding better facilities for Amarnath pilgrims, Bajrang Dal activists today condemned Centre's decission of giving subsidy to the Haj pilgrims and burnt effigy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi in protest.

Under the leadership of Pawan and Sawan Joshi, Bajrang Dal activists congregated in front of Budhha Tajiya mosque and burnt the effigies.

Shouting slogans ''Amarnath Yatra nahi to Haz Yatra bhi nahi,'' the Bajrang Dal leader Mr Pawan said the subsidy given to the Muslim pilgrims is much needed by the Hindu pilgrims.
