Air passenger detained for tampering passport

Kolkata, Jun 28 (UNI) Immigration authorities of NSCBI airport today detained a passenger trying to travel to Bangkok with a tampered passport.

Officials said Chennai Krishnan Senthil Kumar (42), a resident of Tamil Nadu, had removed a sticker from a page of the passport and had tampered with the stitches of two other pages.

He was later arrested.
