Vajpayee grieved over Manekshaw's death

New Delhi, Jun 27 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today expressed grief over the death of Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw at Wellington last night and said that the country had lost a great patriot and a warrior.

In a statement Mr Vajpayee said that the late Field Marshall will be remembered for his role in the country's victory in Bangladesh liberation and his rememberance will be be inspiring people across the country.
