UP CM condoles UNI GM M K Laul's demise

Lucknow, Jun 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Mulayam Singh Yadav today expressed profound sorrow on the demise of United News of India (UNI) General Manager M K Laul in New Delhi today.

In a condolence note, Ms Mayawati said Mr Laul's demise is a great setback for media. He was an outstanding scribe, who contributed postively towards quality journalism.

The SP president also condoled the death and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

Besides, various political leaders comprising Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) president Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) state unit chief Ram Asrey Verma, also expressed grief on Lalu's demise.

The UNI staff at Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur centres also prayed for the departed soul in UP.
