Rupee comes off 3-week high, weakens 16 paise

Mumbai, Jun 27: On Friday, June 27 the Rupee came off the three-week high to 42.83/84 against US Dollar, depreciating 16 paise, from its previous close of 42.67/68 per dollar as the stock market witnessed sharp fall in the opening trade.

Breaking the two day's firm move against greenback, Indian currency rebounded on negative global market sentiments after global oil prices climbed to a record in the previous session, and a more than four per cent fall in the local stock market, dealers said.
