Raj Governor condoles Manekshaw's demise

Jaipur, Jun 27 (UNI) Rajasthan Governor Shailendra Kumar Singh has condoled the demise of Field Marshal Sam HFJ Manekshaw.

In his condolence message, Mr Singh said Manekshaw was a great soldier and endeared Commander produced in post Independence India.

"He was a great commander who was having respect and affection from all of his ranks and files', Mr Singh said.

Recalling his close ties with Manekshaw's family, the Governor said "the General's death is a personal loss to me".
