Rain likely in entire MP

Bhopal, June 27 (UNI) Entire Madhya Pradesh is likely to receive heavy rain over the next few days due to low pressure and upper air cyclonic circulation (cycir) over the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea.

''A low pressure area and cycir have formed in the vicinity of Orissa and Jharkhand and cycir exists in the vicinity of Gujarat and Saurashtra. Thundershowers are likely over the entire state over the next 24 hours,'' said a Regional Meteorological Centre official.

Heavy isolated precipitation would take place in Rewa, Sagar and Jabalpur divisions over the next 48 hours. Overnight thundershowers were recorded at several places in Bhopal, Ujjain, Rewa and Indore divisions. Figures were Raisen 7 cm, Ujjain 5, Rewa and Khandwa 4 and Kannaud 3 cm.
