Professor Bikash Sinha nominated for ''Bidhan Memorial Honour''

Kolkata, June 27 (UNI) Professor Bikash Sinha, Member, Scientific Advisory Committee to the Prime Minister, has been nominated for ''Bidhan Memorial Honour 2008.'' The award will be conferred on Professor Sinha, Director, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, DAE, and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, here on July 1, birth anniversary of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.

The Bidhan Memorial Trust has nominated Professor Sinha for the award for his outstanding contribution to science and technology.
