Pondy CM says his post, Cabinet are intact

Puducherry, Jun 27 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today categorically stated that he had not resigned his post and there would not be any change in the cabinet.

Mr Rangasamy told newspersons here that there would be no change in his cabinet setup and called upon the public not to believe in rumours.

Some people, allegedly supporters of Mr Rangasamy, had indulged in violence and forced shopkeepers to down their shutters in different parts of the town a few days back, following reports that the Chief Minister was asked to step down.
