No 'breakthrough' in blasts' probe : Jaiswal

Hyderabad, Jun 27 (UNI) Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal today said there was no breakthrough as yet in the probe into the blasts triggered by terrorists at different places, including the recent ones in Jaipur.

Speaking to newpersons here, Mr Jaiswal said the investigation agencies were probing the blasts, which claimed many lives in several parts of the country.

Claiming that the Centre had succeeded in curbing the violence, sponsored by the terrorists with the support of neighbouring countries, he said the political instability in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar were major concerns for India's security.

Stating that the state governments had the responsibility to strengthen the internal security, the Union Minister said the Centre was providing all assistance to the state governments to check naxal and terrorist activities.

The naxal activities were also a major concern to the internal security as Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand states were facing the extremists even as Andhra Pradesh had successfully eradicated the naxal menace by utilising the resources given by the Centre, he pointed out.
