Heroin worth Rs 25 lakh seized, 2 held in UP
Ghazipur, Jun 27: Police said they have arrested two members of an inter-district smuggling gang and seized heroin worth Rs 25 lakh from them in Khanpur area here.
Acting on information, police swung into action near Sidhauni bazaar and nabbed Kamlesh Yadav and Rajpal late last night.
On interrogation, the arrested confessed, saying they smuggled the substances to other districts, police said.
