Groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palm oil rise

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palm oil edged up today on speculative demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil segment (per ten kgs), groundnut oil, cottonseed refined, refined palm oil, soyabean ref and castor comm witnessed an upward trend.

Groundnut oil rose by Rs 10. Cottonseed refined, refined palm oil, soyabean ref and castor comm also went up by Rs 4 per ten kgs each on good demand by bulk consumers.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed increased by Rs 50 per quintal.

Castorseed Bombay and castorseed Disa also went up by Rs 20 and Rs 25 per quintal.

Javas 60/70 and javas 80/90 eased by Rs 25 each per quintal amid sluggish demand by stockists.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonnes), kardi extra and sunflower extra soared by Rs 100 per quintal.

Soyameal 48% also inched up by Rs 300 per tonnes on good demand by stockists, traders added.
