Do not get ''motivated'' by PDP, NC: BJP appeals Vohra
Jammu, Jun 27 (UNI) The BJP today appealed Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra not to go by the ''communally-motivated'' suggestions of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conference (NC) on the issue of the proposed land for Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
''The BJP believes that Governor N N Vohra accepting the demands of the separatists like the PDP, NC and the Hurriyat would mean that they have succeeded in implementing their communal agenda and hurting the religious sensitivities of the Hindus across the country,'' Ramesh Arora, party spokesperson said here.
''The situation in Jammu and Kashmir has turned extremely volatile and communally surcharged and it happened only due to the communal approach of the Congress-led government,'' he alleged.
He said Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has joined hands with PDP leaders like Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Muzaffar Hussain Baig, by constituting a committee against Chief Executive Officer of the SASB Arun Kumar and directing the Shrine Board not to put up even pre-fabricated structures at Baltal for creating facilities for the Amarnath Yatris.
