14 dead as bus falls into gorge at Pauri
Pauri, Uttarakhand, Jun 27 (UNI) At least 14 people were killed and nine injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge near Satpuli in Pauri district of the state this morning.
According to police, the accident occurred around 0930 hrs when the bus, heading to Kotdwar from Pauri, skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge killing 14 passengers on the spot, leaving nine injured.
The injured were admitted to nearby hospital and rescue operation were on, police added.
