ULFA rebel shot dead
Guwahati, Jun 26 (UNI) An ULFA militant was killed by a joint team of the Army and Assam Police under Ghograpar police station in lower Assam's Nalbari district in the wee hours today.
Police said one pistol, one Chinese grenade and three rounds of ammunition were recovered from the slain rebel's possession.
However, two other ULFA militants managed to escape, police informed.
