TTD employees stage dharna

Tirupati, June 26 (UNI) Members of various employees associations of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) today staged a dharna in front of the TTD Administrative Office here.

The associations were demanding implementation of a transfer policy for employees, appointment of ex-servicemen in place of Home Guards and house sites for employees.

Opposing the government's decision to deploy Special Protection Force (SPF) at Tirumala, leaders of various employees unions said they would not allow SPF to interfere in the temple administration.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the TTD officials.
