President Patil to inaugurate international conference in Mumbai today
Mumbai, June 26 : President Pratibha Patil will inaugurate the "International Conference on Responsibility to the Future: Business, Peace, Sustainability" here today.
During her five-day tour to Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh, President Patil will visit ndore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Gwalior.
In Indore, the President will dedicate the Choithran Netralaya to the nation and will also inaugurate the Media Bhavan of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya on Friday.
On Saturday, she will make a brief visit to Ujjain after which she will address the Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and inaugurate the Paraspar Sahkari Bank in Indore.
During her visit to Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, she is scheduled to inaugurate the Administrative and Academic Block of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University and the Centre for Advanced Research and Development, People's Group.
The President will also attend the inaugural function of the Usha Kiran Scheme for Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence, which has been launched by the Women and Child Development Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
This will be her first visit to Madhya Pradesh since assuming office on July 25, 2007.
On the final day of her tour on June 30, President Patil will visit Gwalior where she will attend the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Madhav Institute of Technology and Sciences.
