Poster cautions politicians in Pondy

Puducherry, Jun 26 (UNI) The Vanniyar Peravai in Puducherry today came out with a poster cautioning politicians in the backdrop of the tussele between Chief Minister N Rangasamy and the five ministers.

The poster under the banner of "Vanniyar Peravai" read 'caution.' ''Politicians targetting Vanniyar community will you dare to face the elections sans the support of the Vanniyars, who comprise 60 per cent of the population here." In the face of apprehension that Mr Rangasamy might be removed from the post, the DMK legislators and more than 50 councillors expressed support and wanted Mr Rangasamy to continue as Chief Minister.
