No anti-religious contents in textbook: CMP
Kannur, Kerala, June 26 (UNI) Toeing a different path from its opposition United Democratic Front allies, the Communist Marxist Party (CPM) today said there were no anti-religious contents in the controversial class seven social science textbook.
CMP leader M V Raghavan condemned the Left Democratic Front governmment for the ongoing agitation in the name of the textbook.
The UDF had not discussed about the agitations over the controversial textbook. The agitation was kickstarted by the pro-Congress Kerala Students Union and later taken up by the Youth Congress, he told newspersons here.
Stating that the government had failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state, Mr Raghavan accused police of being inactive.
