NASSCOM's HR Summit in Chennai from July 3
Chennai, June 26 (UNI) NASSCOM, the premier trade body and voice of the Indian IT-BPO industry, today announced its fifth annual HR Summit, to be held here from July three.
Themed 'Managing Change', the two-day summit would focus on workforce related issues and concerns and address the wave of change the IT industry was riding, according to a NASSCOM release here.
The event would see the participation of over 500 delegates, 40 plus speakers - CEOs and HR heads - from companies in the IT sector, industries like pharmaceuticals, senior academicians, HR consultants and analysts.
The discussions and deliberations would focus on how the workforce within the industry could be managed during this period of maturity, consolidation and change and how HR could further play the role of a change agent.
The panel discussions and speaker presentations would also analytically look at the critical need of HR moving beyond recruitment and attrition issues, and evolve with a more meaningful role for itself within the organisation.
The speakers would share insights on how HR could help build skillsets in niche services, develop leadership competencies and expand the talent pool in companies.
